Striking employees blockaded the entrance to a TotalEnergies refinery in Feyzin, France, on Thursday, April 13, as part of continued demonstrations against the government’s pension reforms.

Around 100 people rallied at the front of the refinery to block the transport of petroleum products, local media reported.

This footage from journalist Enzo Chesi shows a crowd of protesters and a barricade constructed of wooden beams, crates and tires burning across a roadway.

The protest was one of many against pension reform elsewhere in France on Thursday, that took place in France on Thursday, a day before an expected Constitutional Council ruling on the reform. Credit: Enzo Chesi via Storyful
