The Oregon Democratic Party headquarters in Portland was vandalized on Wednesday, January 20, during a protest that coincided with the inauguration of Joe Biden as President of the United States.

Footage shared by Julio Rosas shows protesters smashing windows next to walls graffitied with messages, including some critical of Biden. “Some of them had a hard time breaking the windows,” Rosas wrote in a Twitter caption.

Officers made multiple arrests before the group dispersed on its own, according to the Portland Police. Another gathering was planned later that evening at Caruthers Parks, they said. Credit: Julio Rosas via Storyful
