Queensland Snake Catcher Removes Carpet Python From Car Engine

A snake catcher was called to popular hiking trail parking lot in Pomona, Queensland, to remove a carpet python from the engine of a car.

Local catcher Luke Huntley, who owns Snake Catcher Noosa, said a hiker at Mount Cooroora noticed the oil warning light flashing on the dashboard of her car. When she went to investigate, she noticed the carpet python under the hood.

Huntley said it was a difficult removal because the snake had wrapped itself around so many hot surfaces in the car engine.
