The rhinos at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire celebrated the reopening of zoos in England on April 12.
This clip, shared by the zoo, shows the group of southern white rhinos eating their breakfast and crashing into a “We Are Open” sign made out of cardboard boxes.
Keepers said the sign was created to welcome visitors back to the zoo as it reopened after more than three months of closure due to coronavirus restrictions.
“Clara and our other rhinos may be in a playful mood, but sign or no sign, the hardworking keepers and staff at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo will ensure every visitor knows how happy we are to see them once more, and how much we appreciate their support through such a difficult year for ZSL," team leader Mark Holden said.
