Seals in the SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium in Queensland were seen walking around the aquarium as part of a fundraising effort for cerebral palsy research.

The seals of SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast explored the aquarium in footage released by the aquarium on September 22. The footage was released as part of the aquarium’s STEPtember efforts: STEPtember is a one-month event raising money for toys, services and equipment for children and teenagers with cerebral palsy; the funds raised also go towards further research.

“Our seals love to get out of the water and move around on land. They can reach speeds of up to 30km/h in the water, and don’t be fooled, these guys can even outrun humans for short distances on land,” said Carla Haskell, Mammals Manager at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast in a press release. According to her, the seals were keen to get involved and help the team to “get their step on”. Credit: SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium via Storyful
