Long lines were being reported by social media users across the United States as voting started on November 3.

This footage was shared by Twitter user @realKathySmith, and shows voters lined up on Tuesday morning along a road in Gluckstadt – which the user called “small-town Mississippi.” Speaking in the video, the uploader’s boyfriend says the footage was captured one minute after polls opened in the area. He added, “I’ve voted here before, and there’s never been more than 10 people in line at any one time.”

Mississippi did not allow early voting or expand mail-in ballot options for this election, as most states did, according to reports. Credit: @realKathySmith via Storyful
