Widespread Damage Seen in Gaylord, Michigan, After Deadly Tornado

At least two people were killed and 44 were injured after a tornado touched down in Gaylord, in Otsego County, Michigan, on Friday, May 20, officials said.

This footage taken by Brendan Gutenschwager on Saturday morning shows the scene on Gaylord’s West Main Street, where multiple businesses, including a Hobby Lobby, sustained damage.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a state of emergency for Otsego County to fast track resources to affected areas.
