A dog and baby from Ohio are adorable best friends, if super-cute footage from April 7 is anything to go by.

Video by Mandy Pinion shows her eight-month-old daughter bonding with the family’s two-year-old Shetland sheepdog, Dasie [sic]. The pair exchange kisses and cuddles as they chill out in the living room.

Pinion told Storyful that Dasie “loves her job as big fursister and loves to play with her babies”.

“My daughter in the video has just recently started to pull herself up on the edge of the couch and Dasie was congratulating her on the big accomplishment,” she said. Credit: Mandy Pinion via Storyful
