Yangon Protesters Flee Tear Gas Following Day of Deadly Violence

Security forces dispersed a protest in Yangon’s Ahlon Township using tear gas on March 4, the day after at least 38 people were reported killed in a brutal nationwide crackdown on anti-coup demonstrators.

Ahlon residents told the BBC they saw eight military vehicles in the area on Thursday morning.
