New Zealand was one of the first countries in the world to wave goodbye to 2020, ringing in the new year with a fireworks display in Auckland.

This footage, recorded by Reem Alanazi, shows a crowd counting down to 2021 and cheering as fireworks go off at the city’s Sky Tower.
