Water Bombers Used to Battle Elmo Fire Burning in Montana's Northwest

The Elmo Fire burning in northwestern Montana grew to nearly 13,000 acres amid critical fire weather, including high temperatures and gusty winds, on Monday, August 1, authorities said.

Footage by Jaime McBroom shows firefighting planes flying near the blaze in Lake County. One of the aircrafts can be seen dumping water.
