Alligator Trapper Trips While Capturing 12ft Beast In Car Park

A woman fell perilously close to the jaws of a thrashing 12ft alligator as she tried to capture the beast in a Texas car park. Christy Kroboth is on call as a licensed alligator trapper and was rushed in to help subdue the wandering 800lb (362kg) alligator in Sugar Land. The animal, thought to be 50 years old, will be sent to an alligator sanctuary in El Campo, Texas.
"He wasn't too sweet to me but I'll forgive him for that," said Ms Kroboth.
"He'll probably just live out the rest of his life and have girlfriends and make babies and be fed every day. He'll be a happy gator."
