Levanter cloud billows over the Rock of Gibraltar

STORY: The Met Office Gibraltar posted the video to Twitter with the caption, "The London Gatwick @easyJet flight taxiing and taking off from @RAF_Gib this morning with the backdrop of some impressive #Levanter cloud over the Rock of #Gibraltar."

According to the Met Office, local easterly winds known as "Levante" blow through the Strait of Gibraltar, causing the signature clouds.
