Moroccans in Spain collect aid for quake victims

STORY: In the working-class neighborhood of Villaverde, locals brought bags full of clothes and personal belongings to help their ‘brothers’ after Morocco's deadliest earthquake in more than six decades.

Spain and Britain has sent search-and-rescue specialists with sniffer dogs. Aid has also arrived from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Rescuers on Monday searched villages reduced to rubble for survivors in a desperate race against time as the death toll rose to almost 2,500 and the scale of destruction became clearer.
