William was taken on a short walking tour of a race track in Fife before taking one of the vehicles for a spin around the circuit.

Extreme E aims to highlight climate change and promote sustainability by racing in remote parts of the world affected by global warming or suffering environmental damage.

William's visit comes ahead of the COP26 climate summit to be held in Glasgow this summer, which aims to ramp up action on climate change as the world veers toward failing on its targets to curb dangerous planetary heating.
