Band Plays US National Anthem as Flyover Performed During Normandy D-Day Commemorations

An army band played the Star-Spangled Banner on June 6, the 77th anniversary of D-Day, during a commemoration event near Omaha Beach in Normandy, France.

Video shared on Twitter by Christophe Mezerette shows a small crowd, including soldiers, gathered at the memorial monument for the First US Infantry Division. A flyover was also performed by the US Air Force.
