Yahoo TV Out-of-Control Boat Goes Airborne and Crashes Into Seawall
Security cameras in Key Largo, Florida, captured the moment a boat became airborne and crashed into a seawall on Saturday, November 2.
Video by Lain Goodwin shows the boat suddenly accelerate as it launches into the air and crashes into the nearby seawall. The boat operator fell against the throttle, causing the boat to suddenly accelerate and race into the dock, reports said.
Speaking to local media, Goodwin said the seawall rises about three to four feet off the surface of the water.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said it was investigating the incident.
The boat ended up wedged in trees and caused significant damage to the seawall. A salvage company used inflatable devices and ropes to pull it back into the water, reports said. No injuries were reported. Credit: Lain Goodwin/The Fish Guyz via Storyful
