Children aged 12 to 17 began to be vaccinated against the coronavirus in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for the first time on October 27, the city’s centre for disease control announced.

Approximately 1,500 students at Cu Chi Town Primary School in the city received the vaccine, the statement added.

The announcement came as the city resumed on-site dining at restaurants and coffee shops after five months of restrictions, VnExpress reported. Credit: Center for Disease Control of Ho Chi Minh City via Storyful
