Firefighters Rescue Cat From Burning Home in Sydney

Firefighters in Sydney’s inner west rescued a pet cat from a burning home on March 12.

Crews from Fire and Rescue New South Wale arrived at the “otherwise unoccupied” home after 11 am, where a blaze threatened to engulf the Concord property, the agency said.

According to FRNSW, firefighters forced their way inside the home and carried the pet to safety before the blaze took hold. Part of the home collapsed after sustaining significant fire damage.
