Tourists Thrilled to Witness Whale Breach Off Ireland Coast

Tourists on a boat excursion hoping to see some dolphins off the coast of Ireland in late July were thrilled when they saw a humpback whale leap out of the waves.
Karen Lee captured this video on July 20 while on an outing with Dingle Dolphin Boat Tours. She told Storyful she and a friend booked the trip during their short visit to Dingle, Ireland.
“We were hoping to see one dolphin, but we were gifted with a huge pod of dolphins, two minke whales, and then a breaching humpback whale,” Lee said. “We couldn’t believe it!”
