Rain doused Australia’s iconic Uluru, causing rare waterfalls to form down the rock face of the massive sandstone monolith on Friday, February 12.

This video uploaded by Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park captured the spectacular sight as a storm swept across the typically dry region in the Northern Territory.

According to the national park, 18 millimetres of rain drenched the site in the first February rainfall Uluru had seen since 2018. Credit: Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park via Storyful
