Huntsville International Airport Crews De-Ice Plane as Cold Temperatures Hit Alabama

Crews at Alabama’s Huntsville International Airport worked to prepare runways and aircraft on Tuesday, January 4, as below-freezing temperatures hit the area.

Footage released by Huntsville International Airport shows a crew de-icing a plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration warned that ice may continue to affect East Coast flights on Tuesday while more snow was expected to affect parts of the South and Mid-Atlantic starting Thursday.
