A storm swept through Panama Beach City in northwest Florida on Sunday, November 29, as a “record-breaking” Atlantic hurricane season drew to a close.

Severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings were also issued Monday as stormy weather continued to push across the state.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), in a statement issued November 24, said the 2020 hurricane season included 30 named storms, surpassing the previous record of 28 named storms set in 2005. Though the hurricane season ended on Monday, November 30, tropical storms could develop past that date, the NOAA said. Credit: @sandman_pcb via Storyful
