The Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows swooped down cover Prestwick Airport, near Glasgow on Scotland’s west coast, on August 15 as part of VJ Day celebrations across the United Kingdom.

The squadron was in Scotland to mark the 75th anniversary of Victory over Japan (VJ) Day, when Imperial Japan surrendered to the Allies, bringing an end to World War II. Credit: @McCreadyFran via Storyful
