A funnel cloud was spotted in Cheshire and Greater Manchester on July 19, where it damaged roofs and vehicles in the area.

The funnel cloud was first reported via a weather report from Manchester Airport. The Met Office later shared video of the cloud, referring to it as "a "tornado"":

Visitors to the Royal Horticultural Society’s Tatton Park Flower Show spotted the cloud and posted video to social media.
