Hail hammered Salado, Texas, as a severe storm moved across the state on April 9.

This video of large hailstones and lightning was captured by Chad Casey, who said he filmed it in Salado on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) Fort Worth said large hail the size of tennis balls and winds of 70mph were reported and urged residents to seek shelter if they were in the path of the storm. Credit: Chad Casey via Storyful
