Health Matters: Disability rights coalition speaks out against MAiD laws

A coalition of disability rights organizations are speaking out against Canada's law on medical assistance in dying (MAid), calling it an abandonment of people with disabilities. The group, including the Council of Canadians with Disabilities and Inclusion Canada, has filed a charter challenge, arguing the law has resulted in premature deaths.
