Yahoo TV Before and After: Arctic Foxes Get Gorgeous New Coats for Winter

A pair of Arctic foxes at a zoo in Tacoma, Washington, became even more gorgeous after their “floofy” pure-white winter fur came in – just in time for a bomb cyclone storm system that brought gusty winds to the region on Tuesday, November 19.
Footage captured by the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium shows Arctic fox duo Sven and Freya playing in their brown fur coats in September, and then walking around in their thick, white winter coats in November.
“To camouflage in the treeless tundra in the wild, Arctic foxes are brown in summer and turn white in winter to blend in with the snow,” the zoo said. “So floofy!” Credit: Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium via Storyful
