NY Highway Crew Narrowly Avoid Car That Smashed Into Their Truck

A crew from the New York State Thruway Authority had a close call on April 19 when a car came speeding through their work zone, smashed into one of their vehicles and careered across the highway.

Footage released by the Thruway Authority shows the incident, which they said occurred 20 seconds after the crew had returned to their vehicle.

The Thruway Authority said nobody was hurt in the incident.
