3 KFC workers shot during robbery at restaurant in Antelope, Sacramento sheriff says

Three workers at a KFC restaurant in Antelope were shot on Friday during a robbery attempt, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. The shooting was reported on Watt Avenue and Elverta Road just before 3:30 p.m. Three suspects approached the KFC with one entering the restaurant and demanding money, Sgt. Amar Gandhi with the sheriff's office said. Customers and employees began running out of the store. The suspect jumped over the counter and started shooting at the employees, Gandhi said.  The three workers who were shot, all adults, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said.
