Nick Cannon praises Mariah Carey for 'saving his life' during lupus battle

The 42-year-old presenter was still married to Mariah when he got the diagnosis and has now praised the singer for being so supportive through the crisis. “She was my rock, man,” Nick said during a recent appearance on The Diary of a CEO podcast. “She went hard. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for how hard she went with the doctors, with me (and) my stubbornness.” Nick even described Mariah as “perfect” when it came to her role as a caregiver to him.
