Netanyahu 'Awake, Recovering' After Hernia Surgery

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “awake, recovering and talking to his family” after a successful hernia surgery on March 31, his surgeon said.

Netanyahu had the surgery at the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, according to local reports.

The hospital released this footage showing Prof Alon Pikarski giving an update on Netanyahu’s condition after the surgery.

“The operation went as expected and successfully,” the hospital cited Pikarski as saying.
