Cop Breaks Doll Stroller While Rescuing Little Girl, Surprises Her With New One

A police officer in Paramus, New Jersey, surprised a little girl with a brand new toy stroller for her doll after he broke her old one freeing her from it after it got stuck around her waist.

Iman Jabara told Storyful that her four-year-old daughter Nina had just finished a Zoom class on her iPad when she began calling for help from across the house.

“I went to check on her and found her standing in her sister’s room with a doll stroller around her waist. I tried to take her out but I couldn’t so I called our amazing police department,” she said.

Footage shared by Jabara shows Officers Rob Sobocinski and Ben Fox from the Paramus Police Department trying to get Nina out of the stroller, eventually deciding that they would have to break it in order to release her.

According to a local report, Sobocinski felt terrible about having to ruin the stroller, and bought her a replacement at Target to surprise her with.

“She did nothing wrong,” he explained in the same report. “All she knew was she got stuck in a toy … and then the police came, and broke her toy.” Credit: Iman Jabara via Storyful
