Snow Plows Work on Manchester Airport Runway as Winter Weather Forces Temporary Closure

Both of the Manchester Airport runways were closed on Saturday morning, December 10, after snow prompted safety concerns, the airport said.

Manchester Airport said in a statement that it had temporarily closed both runways after “heavy snow fall.”

The airport later said one of the runways resumed operations close to midday.
