STORY: For over three decades, H. has been operating underwater and under cover on behalf of Israel's navy, at one point he even served under the command of now dismissed Minister of Defence Yoav Gallant.
"This is, without a doubt, the worse time we've ever been, in my view, in the state of Israel," H. said, adding that he feels mostly sad and frustrated.
"Something that we, all of us built for the last 75 years, are we willing to ruin it? For what? For whom?," he asked.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday delayed a decision on the bitterly contested plans amid fears that Israel's worst national crisis in years could fracture his coalition or escalate into violence.
