Moscow investigates possible drone fragments

STORY: Russia's emergency services were at the scene in at least three locations in Moscow and a spokeswoman for Russia's Investigative Committee Svetlana Petrenko said a forensic experts and investigators were following leads to identify those behind the drone attacks.

Russia had said that Ukrainian drones had struck its capital on Tuesday (May 30). Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhailo Podolyak denied Kyiv was directly involved in targeting Moscow, though he said "we are pleased to watch" and forecast more to come.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said two people were injured, one of whom was hospitalized, in the early morning attack. Moscow's airports remained open. No deaths were reported.

Russian state television gave the attacks some, but not extensive, coverage of events.
