Yahoo TV Seal Freed From Fishing Hook Returns to the Ocean

A young fur seal has been returned to the ocean after being freed from a fishing hook and line embedded in its snout, Melbourne Zoo said on November 20.
The distressed seal was first spotted by a beachgoer, who alerted the zoo’s Marine Response Unit.
The team removed the dangerous gear before releasing the seal.
“It was wonderful to see the seal swim off into the bay. This positive outcome highlights the importance of safely disposing of fishing hooks and lines,” said Elise Doyle, a team member who led the rescue. Credit: Melbourne Zoo via Storyful
