Storm Damage Seen in Tupelo Amid 'Tornado Emergency'

A powerful storm swept through Tupelo, Mississippi, on May 2, causing damage to properties, as the National Weather Service declared a tornado emergency for the area.

The service said late Sunday that the situation was life-threatening and warned people to take shelter.

Video shared to Facebook by JT Lit shows a damaged property as well as trees and utility poles that have fallen.
