Giant Earthworm Tries to Get Into Motel During Queensland Flooding

A giant earthworm was found trying to worm its way under the closed door of a motel room following heavy rain and flooding in Queensland on March 23.

Darren Jack recorded footage of the earthworm as it tried to wriggle under a door at the Tall Trees Motel in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.

“There’s a massive, massive earthworm trying to get in under the door and it’s trying to constrict itself,” Jack says in video he recorded.

“I’ll show you how big it is. There’s my hand. Unbelievable," he says.
