Those helping the cleanup in the wake of catastrophic flooding around Valencia may have been hoping for a “return to normality” by November 13, but with more bad weather on the way, that remained to be seen.

Footage posted to X by the Valencian fire and forestry service shows emergency crews removing debris and repairing damaged roads in Alfafar and Catarroja.

According to local news reports, however, heavy rain was expected to return on Wednesday, with orange weather warnings in place.
