Yahoo TV Bakery Creates Anatomically Correct Heart Cake to Help Surgeon Celebrate His Birthday

A bakery in Victor, New York, made a cake in the shape of the human heart for a local heart surgeon’s birthday recently, and footage of the creation went viral after it was shared on August 15.
Deviant Desserts, founded by Katherine Dey and her husband Mark, shared a video of the anatomically correct cake to Facebook, where it soon racked up over 4,000 views.
The cake was commissioned by employees from a Rochester hospital for one of their surgeons birthdays, and the team at Deviant Desserts even went as far as adding tubing to make it pump “blood.” Credit: Katherine Dey at Deviant Desserts, LLC via Storyful
