Women and Children From Ukraine Arrive at Slovakia Border

Women and children moved through a border checkpoint in Slovakia from Ukraine, as thousands of people fled the country following Russia’s invasion.

Slovakia police said on March 1 that around 12,000 people had arrived in the country in the previous 24 hours. 54,304 people had crossed into Slovakia from Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
