Crowds Arrive by Train to English Seaside Amid Heat Wave

Record breaking heat across England brought droves of people in search of a beach day to Brighton, making it almost impossible to socially distance, despite guidelines still being in place.

Video footage recorded by Sam Barton on August 1 showed a large group of people making their way out of the station and not abiding by social distancing rules.

“This is so irritating. Because of these people we may end up having to have a localised lockdown in a couple of weeks,” Barton captioned the video when he uploaded it to Twitter.
