Environmental protesters disrupted the AGM of UK Oil & Gas on Tuesday, June 28, leading to the suspension of the meeting.

Video filmed by Mia Watanabe shows demonstrators in the shareholder meeting holding a sign that reads “UK Oil & Gas Stop” and chanting “You’re part of the climate crisis”. One demonstrator attempts to read a statement before a man tries to remove her from the room.

Another clip shows protesters singing in a corridor outside the meeting room.

According to Drill or Drop, Joanna Warrington, a spokeswoman for Fossil Free London, who were behind the protest, said, “It’s time we held this company, and the whole destructive industry, to account.
