Zeva, an air travel startup based in Tacoma, Washington, executed the first successful test flight of their zero-emissions aircraft, ZEVA Aero.
The flight was conducted on January 9 in rural Pierce County, Washington, ZEVA Aero said.
This video shows the ZEVA Aero aircraft taking off, traveling in the air, and landing successfully. The aircraft is designed for a single pilot and fits in a single parking space.
“We are eager to continue to our next stage of hover flight testing on our road to certification and eventual autonomous flight allowing anyone, not just pilots, to access zero-emission point-to-point travel.” Stephen Tibbitts, CEO and Chairman of ZEVA said. Credit: ZEVA Aero via Storyful
