Swollen River Reaches Haleiwa Harbor After Flash Flooding in Hawaii

The Anahulu River was seen carrying debris out to Haleiwa Harbor in Hawaii on March 9, after heavy rained caused severe flooding in several areas of Oahu Island.

Hawaii Gov David Ige announced a state of emergency on March 9, with residents in Haleiwa initially told to evacuate. This order was later lifted.
