As SCOTUS struck down the Chevron doctrine, potentially reducing the power behind federal agencies, and with Former President Donald Trump promising to cancel Biden Administration policies around climate change, businesses may need or want to change operations to adjust for reduced or different regulations.

Former Supreme Allied Commander, Europe for NATO retired General Wesley Clark joins Catalysts to give insight into how businesses could react to reduced regulation.

Clark, who is now the Chairman and Founder of Enverra, says, "When you look at the temperature across the United States today, you look at the flooding in Florida and Texas and so forth. Businesses understand reality in ways that politicians don't. So, yes, businesses will take advantage of tax credits if they're offered. Business will take advantage of other government incentives. But businesses also understand reality. They have a longer-term perspective, in many cases, than the political advocates of particular positions." Clark adds that companies will "sway back and forth with the politics of the current administration or the next administration," but that ultimately know they will have to deal with climate change.
