Floating Restaurant Near London Starts to Sink

A floating restaurant started sinking into a lake outside a large shopping center east of London on Friday, December 23, local media reported.

This footage from Michael Hall shows a Miller & Carter restaurant, located in a renovated steamboat, partially submerged outside the Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex.

According to Sky News, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said “everyone was safely evacuated” from the restaurant so crews “were not required to attend.”
