Chinook Helicopter Picks Up Water to Tackle Blue Ridge Fire

Chinook helicopters were called in to help tackle the growing Blue Ridge Fire, which had burned at least 14,334 acres in Orange County, California, by Tuesday evening, October 27, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire said evacuation orders were issued for some parts of the county, with the fire threatening around 20,099 homes in Yorba Linda as of Tuesday evening, according to reports.

The fire was at zero percent containment.
