Tens of thousands of protesters marched into Jerusalem on Saturday, July 22, ahead of a Knesset vote on controversial judicial reforms.

Footage recorded by Paltiel Bichman shows the protesters near Ma’ale Adumim, an Israeli settlement near Jerusalem, on Saturday.

Local media, citing police, reported that tens of thousands of protesters marched through extreme heat to reach the Knesset on Saturday.

The Knesset is expected to pass controversial judicial reforms that would prevent the High Court of Justice from blocking government decisions that it finds to be unreasonable on Monday.
